Lloyd Thayer just got the first model XVII with these new wood baffles inside the body that I've been talking about - I just put the email unedited on the New News item on the melobar.com web site for any of you guys wanting to know about it.
I really believe we will see a change in materials in a lot of Resonator guitars over the next few years.
some melobro wood baffles feedback

I'm really glad to hear the positive things about your guitars, Ted. I think the experiments you're performing with resonator guitars have the potential to transform the entire industry, especially as more people become aware of your instruments.
Good luck!

Thank you Brad, by the way, I have not stopped thinking on the Resin Lap steel we talked about last year. I just need to get caught up with the current projects. I'll be back with an acoustic lap steel that's diagrammed all over my office wall - it's a disease!
[This message was edited by Ted Smith on 27 October 2001 at 08:48 PM.]
