Hi Mike,

since your company doesn't care that much about european steelers (Just kidding, I know the reasons) I'd like to know how the only 15" Bass cabinet with a Black Widow (115BX BW) available in Germany will work with a steel guitar. Is it the same speaker that is used in the Nashville-series? Thanks in advance.

Hi Mike, hi guys,

I need to know your opinion about this enclosure pretty fast. Does anyone of you use this for steel guitar? How does it sound?

Gosh, that hurt! The 115BX BW uses a 1502-4 ohm BW speaker. This speaker is not intended for steel guitar applications, but we sometimes find out from our customers that other Peavey products work great in other applications.

This is not the same speaker that we have voiced for the steel guitar market. There is only one model, the Black Widow 1501-4ohm Shallow Basket(SB). I'm hoping that some of the other Forumites have tried this cabinet and can give you valid feedback. I just have not been in a situation where I have used this cabinet for a live performance.
