I started bringing an old borrowed 6st supro tuned to open E to gigs these days.
I just crank up the distortion and go bowling for notes on that bad boy on the rock tunes. It is a ball !

my maroon MOTS Supro is about my fave secret weapon for rockin' out in lap steel mode; same idea- big ole E tuning and cranked overdrive tone.
