I;ve said it for years and heard it said for years.... " a string is a string , is a string, is a string..." BUT I recently tried Strings by Mr. Smooth ... thats Bill Stafford for those of you who dont know him. You can see him on this forum occassionaly. MAN !!!! those strings brought NEW LIFE to My Gibson Guitar. The whole Band Noticed a difference in my tone So I Suggest you Email him Soon and get some headed Your Way. I assume Bill Stafford is not manufacturing his own wire (?). What brand of string is he packaging and are they nickel wound or stainless steel?
