Although this never reached its reserve the seller has offered it to me at the last bid of $132.50. Is it worth it?
I would appreciate any opinions. (Of COURSE it's not a pre-war Rick--you don't need to inform me of that. I may be stupid but I'm not crazy. Or is it the other way around?)

It's a clean looking instrument and probably worth the price if you take in inflation over the years. I recall selling similar models to my students back in the early fifties for around $49.00. It IS a STUDENT guitar and nothing worthy of writing home about. Keep it for another 125 years and you just might have a collector's item!

Thanks George. I'm not at all interested in its collectibility or appreciation or anything--just whether I could play it without wanting to smash it to bits. I went ahead and agreed to the deal. The nice thing
is that at this price I can do stuff like change pickups or whatever without worrying about screwing up a valuable piece.
