Scheerhorn Acoustic/Electric

Well the 14 month wait was very much worth it...this little thing is awesome, and so cool looking. The body depth is 2 inches, it has a 9 inch resonator, Seymour Duncan humbucker, and a McIntyre on the spider. Looks like a Les Paul with no cutaway. Unplugged, it whomps a lot of dodo's I've heard, and plugged in, you can compete with any rock and roll dude. It will be a nice compliment to the pedal steel for rock/country gigs, and it certainly is worth the extra weight.
If you run just the humbucker, it sounds like a lap steel. the McIntyre makes it sound like a dodo..blend the two together, and you get this hybrid steel/dobro sound that is really cool. I am running it through a Rane AP-13...lots of knobs and stuff to mess with...that's the only part I don't like...
If any of you are around the Seattle area, I'll be playing it at the Heritage Festival in Marymoor on July 1st, and at Seattle Center Amphitheater on July 14th...Both gigs with the Lloyds...

"The McIntyre makes it sound like a dodo." WOW! They've been extinct for so long I didn't think anyone was still around who even knew what a dodo sounded like.

(Sorry...just too good of an opportunity to pass up.... Image)
