Legs

Post by Louie Warren »

I have an old National D8. The legs that came with it are cool for sitting
down and playing, but I need to have it up so I can play it in a standing
position. I've used a keyboard X stand, but that isn't comfortable. I had
an old Rickenbacker T8 and sold it like a dummy. It had four legs, similar
to the telescoping legs on a pedal steel, that allowed me to raise it to a
comfortable playing position (around 45 - 48 inches). Do pedal steel mfgs
sell the telescoping legs? Do they go that high?
Thanx

Hi Louie,
I see Herb Remington is making straight steel guitars with telescoping legs. His web is www.remingtonsteele.com. Good luck,

Pat

Louie,
You'll find telescoping legs and sockets here on Bobbe Seymour's web page for Steel Guitar Nashville.
