For the Good Times

Post by randy »

I'll bet someone has a tab for this. I sure can't find it though. I play it all the time but I need some new ideas from folks alot more accomplished than me.

Jeff Newman has this all tabbed in "Music to Back-up By". It's all classic nashville style steel and I believe is still available from Jeff.

I'd try Tom Bradshaw first because he doesn't charge shipping.

..I tried you guys first, 'cause you don't charge for the tabbing, either! Image

...thanks for the tip...and I'd still be interested in anyone else's version if they're willing to share their tab of it...

Aaron Neville did the best version of this tune, with Paul Franklin on steel. I don't have the tab unfortunately, but you owe it to yourselves to listen to this one. The licks aren't hard, but they're played oooh sooo nice.

I tabbed out "For the Good Times" in a recent issue of the Pedal Steel Guitar Association's Newsletter. Send me an E-mail with your "snail mail" address, and I'll get you my arrangement.

..I should have the back issue of the PSGA newsletter, Chuck, unless my wife "organized" my stuff...I'll check there, and I'll check with Bobbe Seymour for that version...thanks!
