George Strait's" Nobody In His Right Mind"
I just wonder if anyone knows the awesome intro, turn around and ending of this song.I think they are close to one in the same.
This is such a great song and deserves the right licks.
Thanks,
John

Here's how I play it;
1-------------------------------------------------
2-------------------------------------------------
3-------------------------------------------------
4-------------------------------------------------
5---------4A~~~8~8~8A--------6~~8~8A~~8-----------
6----1~~4~~~~~~8~8~8B---6L~6~~~~8~8B~~8-----------
7-------------------------------------------------
8-------------------------------------------------
9-------------------------------------------------
10------------------------------------------------
"L" on string 6 refers to the pedal that lowers strings 5 and 6 a whole tone, or as many refer to it the "Paul Franklin" pedal, P4.
Or, if you don’t have the P4 change but do have the F#-G# lever on string

7-----------------------6~6G----------------------

or of course just slide up..

Larry, I hope ya don't mind. Dang good work
pal; I played through it in my head and sounds like you did your homework to me.
Thanks for this and keep'um coming.
And Bill; that is mighty fine too man. Ya'll both show exactly how someone can pretty much play the parts with a little variation in position.
Good work guys.

Ricky, thanks for separating the tab for me. I fought that stuff for quite a while.
The intro is very basic but takes patience getting the timing down correctly. Paul used subtle variations on each bar (as any good musician would do). Pay particular attn. to the outro's as a knee lever is used to lower the 6th strg. It's tricky at one place where the timing is critical with the "B" pedal and the knee lever. If your playing with no other instruments around, melody licks are the order of the day. Add other instruments and you might get by with playing single notes.
The melody- There are so many positions to play the melody, especially with the 6 minor chord change. (BC pedal, A pedal, D lever). The possibilities are endless. Have fun with it guys.

I worked on this one some time back, but I don't think I got it right.
