Hi Everyone,
I was recently asked to transcribe a Myrick/Rugg Speed Picking Exercise which basically outlined a G major scale over 3 strings. It's a great exercise for seeing how a major scale moves laterally and how to efficiently picking it with just two fingers. I took the idea and played it over a traditional country progression and then tried it over a more modal "jam band" progression with an envelope filter. I hope you enjoy it!
