Tommy Whites MSA?

Post by Austin Tripp »

Years ago as a young lad dreaming of nothing but steel guitars and video games, I visited Nashville for the first time and had the honor of doing the tourist thing and taking a tour of the Grand Ole Opry. Tommy White was playing his burgundy MSA (M3 I believe?) and I loved the way he sounded on it. Tommy sounds great on any guitar but my favorite has been the MSA, as it was my first introduction to TW and the Mullen RP he’s been playing for years now. Hoping Tommy will chime in but does anyone have any knowledge of where that guitar ended up? I’ve went down the YouTube rabbit hole but I can’t find any video of Tommy at the GOO with that guitar.

Austin, I remember that guitar, it was an MSA Millennium M3 definitely-it was a D-10. Unfortunately, I have no idea what happened to it, but Tommy sounded great on it. I think it might've been the guitar that was sitting onstage when Tracy Lawrence played "Paint Me A Birmingham " on the Opry for the first time. I'd seen it on TV several times back then. Maybe Tommy knows what happened to it
