Fender Triple Neck

Post by Gary Hockin »

I have a few before and after pics of the start of a rebuild of s early 1950's Fender Triple neck. All three trapazoid pickups work, I have some body work to due and not sure what color to paint. I kind of wonder if it was a early Fender body that had 4 feet and was sitting in the factor and than turned into a 3 legger. The three leg holes have factory paint in them. Just puting it out there, not sure of anything with this Steel. I will need one tuner pan and tuners to put this back playable.

Probably the very same guitar! That is so cool! I have owned 9 Fender steels and 5 old Rickenbackers. I always try to find out the history of the instruments and always have some up with nothing. Here's another track from Dick Stubbs.

Glad to see that you chose to restore the steel!

You were in the perfect position to do so.

Enjoy!
Aloha,

Mike K
