I've just been given two oldies!! Here's the first, a Wright Custom
So I went into my local music store looking for a particular effects box which they didn't have. They DID say "we have two steels we can't do anything with, and if you don't take them, we'll put 'em in the dumpster."
So it was made, according to the writing under the front neck, in November 1959, for a smudged name that is probably either Robert Burnett or Barnett. It was made as a D-8 and has since had a neckectomy.
Unfortunately, it has neither legs, pedal rack or pedal rods. Basically nothing that isn't in the cabinet. I think I'll clean it up, and look into how much the full rehab would set me back in parts, and either fix it or sell it on. But I'm putting SOME time in it soon.

2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)
More amps than guitars, and not many effects

The MSA looks like Tiger maple, but has suffered severe crazing.

Chris Lucker might know for sure, but they kinda look like the normal 1/2-13.
Ill check next time I see it. My father-in-law is a carpenter and he's building a shipping crate, and it's going to get shipped to someone who'll make Chuck proud.
