My latest purchase...60s Fender Deluxe S8

I just yesterday purchased this very fine Fender lap steel.

In 1968 I purchased a brand new Fender 400 in tulsa that had this same style case, so I am guessing that this lap steel is in that era.

It sounds great to my ears.

Congrats on the new toy!

My Deluxe has the same case and is from 2003. Looks exactly the same and definitely has that Stringmaster sound!
