Hi lapsteelers,
"Blackbird" by Paul McCartney sounds so easy, but in fact it's a pretty complex song.
A vocal melody, a climbing and descending bassline, and a second melody on that!
Long ago, and long before Ultimate Guitar and so, I tried to find out how to play it on guitar.
And now I made a little concerto for lapsteel and backing track (or for a quiet solo performance if you like).
Not for absolute beginners, but a musical thing to work on!
My version is here: https://youtu.be/zo3_3IsQU3c?si=pUboKLORnCEXDLgy
If you feel the need to try it, I can send the PDF and the backing track.
Asking a donation of 4 euro/dollar using Paypal account: farroach.tabs@gmail.com
Below is the first part, hope you like it,
Bert
