Bolt-on Badge or Decal?
I have a bolt-on S-10, #1075 S, that would likely be from '67? It has a plastic badge logo on it now, but many guitars you see in this age range have the stick on type "decal" logo. I understand that Emmons would regularly replace the decals with badges if the guitars were back in the factory for one reason or another.
My questions are: whether this guitar should have the decal logo, and if so is there a current source for these items?

Drew,
I have a decal. I kinda like the look of the decal on this Cut-Tail guitar #1464 S.
Check with emmonsguitar.co
See what they offer.

Re: Bolt-on Badge or Decal?
My bolt-on has a badge, indicating it was likely sent back to the factory for service at one point.
When I bought it, it had a decal over the drilled badge holes, but over time the decal had bubbled up where the screw holes were. I suspect the same thing will happen to yours if you try to put a decal over the badge holes.
I got a used badge from https://www.outwestcountry.ca/. Not sure if they have any more but if you post in the want to buy section I bet you’ll find one.

Re: Bolt-on Badge or Decal?
Thanks for the replies. I like the looks of that sticker above but it looks like it’s not really a replica of the original but a more modern take on the old ones. I’ll keep looking for a source. Lynn Stafford used to have them I believe but haven’t been able to reach him.
I’ve gotten pedal bar decals from him in the past.
I would fill the screw holes before applying a sticker.
