I see John is out touring. Is he using a steel guitar? If so, who’s playing?

Glenn Rieuff. He's played Emmons guitars for a lot of years

You're welcome! A year or two ago, John was playing shows acoustically and Glenn was playing dobro. There was no, fiddle, electric guitars, keyboards, bass, pedal steel, and drums-it was John and Glenn playing acoustic versions of the hit songs.

I thought his most recent album Years was incredible. Not a ton of steel guitar, but really great songs, cool sound, and incredible vocals from John.
