Mei day is Lei day in Hawaii- D. Mcintire
I have two copies of the Jerry Byrd instruction course. Only one has a song in F#9 tuning- Mei day is Lei day in Hawaii. Iv seen this song by Dick Mcintire on a 78, but I haven’t actually heard it. Does anyone know if Dick Mcintires version of the song can be found online?

Hot damn!! Thank you Rick! I literally could not fall asleep, just trying to imagine how this song sounded. Fantastic.

Aloha,
In Hawaii, we call May 1st "May Day". It was common for elementary schools to celebrate it back when I was a kid.
Each of the 8 Hawaiian islands is represented by a color and a flower. Traditionally there would be parades and processionals.
