Smallest Lap Steel or Lap Resonator for travel, playing in car, etc? Weight of Rogue RLS-1???

I'm interested in a small Lap Steel or Dobro to travel with, play in the car (with portable amp), etc.

Is the Rogue RLS-1 the smallest option for Dobro or Lap Steel?

Also, I'm curious what the weight of the Rogue RLS-1 is? I can't find it anywhere. Can someone weight theirs if it is not published?

When I traveled for work I always had a lap steel tuned to open G. I mainly just wanted to practice and not play in groups. There are a ton of small amps now. My favorite is the Spark Go. You can set up a dobro sound and have fun.
The lap steel also fits well in carry-on with now issues.

As for resonators- The Road-Phonic is the smallest on I know of. A bit pricey though.

I have a small Magnatone blue perloid that is very light and short that I use to practice when I travel with a Roland Mobile amp.

I like the Washburn Rover...small, but actually sounds like a guitar....comes with a second nut that is higher than the standard one, making conversion easy (at least when I bought mine some years ago)...lots of used ones on the market if you want a price break...

The Roland Mobile Cube amp is an amazing unsung hero of an amp. You'd never guess a small little solid state amp powered by 6AA's would sound so good.

It's actually my preferred gigging amp. You can just mic it with an SM57 and you're golden.

I saw Bobby Ingano play "Twilight in Hawaii" at the Wolftrap in Vienna, Virginia (just outside of DC) with the Taj Mahal band. He was playing a Rickenbacher Bakelite with the Mobile Cube mic'd with an SM57. It sounded GORGEOUS.

People had no idea they were listening to a little amp powered by 6AA batteries.

If you can find a used one, scoop it up! I have like 3 now, lol. The cheapest one I got used for $60 at Guitar Center.
