VP Recommendation for 6-string guitarist

Post by Daniel Morris »

As I play pedal steel exclusively, I'm not sure how different it might be for a guitarist using a volume pedal .
Specifically, a guitarist buddy is looking for a reasonably priced, no frills VP recommendation. I've seen some guys are fine with an Ernie Ball, while some of us ponied up for a Telonics. If you're a guitarist, and you use a VP, what do you like? Do you the same VP for guitar and steel?
Thanks for any help.

I use Ernie Ball VP Juniors for both. Not real sophisticated, and I wish there were a side-jack option, but they work for me. ;-)

Moyo seems to be a vol pedal of choice for guitar players. I see it pretty often on guitarists pedalboards these days.

It's sorta perfect.
