Noisy toggle switch on Emmons Legrand three

Post by Robbie Bossert »

Hey Guys,
Have any of you had an issue with the toggle switch being noisy just out of the blue? The guitar cuts out and sounds a lot like a bad cord. I flipped it back and forth a few times and it seemed to take care of the problem for the time being. Where can I get a replacement if needed?

Thanks,

Some good contact cleaner might fix it. Worked for me.

Thanks Tim. That’s gonna’ be my first attempt to fix it. Just thinking ahead just in case it doesn’t work out…

Robbie, I imagine you could order a new toggle switch direct from the new Emmons company. They are still using that same switch.

Yep, after a period of time, these things go bad.

I know the last time I replaced mine, I bought a spare (20 years ago) and so far have not had to replace it again.
