Anyone use a portable power station for (outdoor?) gigs

Post by Mark Evans »

Greetings
I do some park jamming with some folks.
The organizer powers his modest rig with a portable power
Station (Jackery)
I run weissenborn thru a small pedal board
Into a Yamaha THR-10 amp.

Any one use one? Recommendations for one in
The under $200 range?

Yes, the little Jackery 240v2 on sale at Amazon for $179 looks like it would be up to the task, and should power your little 10-watt amp for an afternoon of playing. They don't give output specs, and I'm not sure about the current drain of your amp, but I'd guess it would power your amp for 4-8 hours.

Used a Jackery power source with Fishman Loudbox Mini, guitar and vocal mic, provided at local farmer's market. Three hour gig used maybe 40% of the charge.
