Dave Beaty (Telonics pedals)

Post by Danny Sneed »

I want to apologize to Dave Beaty for taking so long to realize what a wonderful volume pedal Telonics makes.
I won't go to any gig without my Telonics pedal.
Big thanks to Dave and the gang who make excellent equipment.
Love my pedal,
Danny

Yea kinda me too. Almost want another so I can leave one at home and not have to pick it up for every gig. But wondering if that is too extravagant.

Another fan of my Telonics V-ped!
I occassionally gig with an instrument with low output signal, and those settings with the extra juice at the end of the pedal travel works great!

Dave Beaty is the best. My rigs are Telonics from the pickups to the sound in my ears. Nothing but the best quality and customer service.

Another fan here. I bought it for recording at home. I don't use any of the clever features but I love the clarity, and I know that if anything sounds off it's not the pedal. (I have a Telonics amp too.) I still love my Hilton - that's the one I take to gigs for folk to spill beer in.

Yes, Dave is a great guy. Met him at Telonics in 2014.
Apparently the one I have is no longer made.
"Chrome: but of course they are now black in color.

I also have the X10 Pup and Telonics amp.

Thanks Dave!

Hey all! Glad to hear all the good press on Dave and his steel products. Am interested in his X-10 pick-up and would like to put one in my Magnum for its hum- bucking capabilities. If I last long enough it shall be mine! Regards,RK

Hi Rick, I can recommend the X10 Telonics pickups - I have them in my Red Burl Zum Hybrid and they sound just fabulous - wonderful guitar anyway, but these pickups really bring out the best in a guitar ! Just love them. The fact you can fine tune each individual string to your taste is the ultimate design feature.

Telonics X-10...sounds like a best bet!

Post by Rick Kornacker »

Hey Paddy! Thanks for the input. I'm sure it will be great in my Magnum(super little guitar). Had a Carter with a L710, so that would be a fit alternative. Play good...and keep them 'roos in order! Regards,RK

Just want to add more praise for Dave and Sophie. I had an issue with my volume pedal while on road dates out of the country. They made sure I was covered for the rest of my dates and then turned around the pedal repair even faster than I needed it done. I'm wildly appreciative.
