Piano Desk

Post by Charles Kurck »

We were using X style piano stands but I wanted something more sturdy for our home recording studio.
I built two heavy duty piano desks.
They are not portable but I fitted the desks with casters so they are mobile.

I might be a beginner now, but someday I'm gonna steel the show.

I love how you've mimicked the form of a traditional upright.

Robert, Ivan, and Bill;

Thanks for your compliments. The upright piano form came from the need for a way to hold sheet music. While I was at it I decided to make room for power outlets and a speaker shelf above. When the build had taken shape my wife said “They look like church pews”.
