ToonTrack EZKeys Blues Piano and EZDrummer Midi Demo

Post by Greg Cutshaw »

I just purchased the ToonTrack EZeys piano blues module and their EZDrummer blues module. To record this demo I used them as VST's inside of Reaper.

Hear Final Audio Track!

The rhythm track is just EZDrummer, EZkeys, and real bass direct to console through a tube pre-amp.

The ToonTrack stuff is easy to use and generating a track can be a quick or as tedious and custom as you want to make it. I manually add snare and cymbal hits here and there to add to the flavor. It's a nice tool to have in the studio!

Greg, great as usual... If you order EZKeys Country, do you have to have any other program to make them work?? Or is that all you need? Will it work with BIAB or Real Band??

EZKeys will work with any workstation host. You end up pasting the EZKeys tracks into the host as midi sequences. You have the option of using the EZKeys or your host midi tools to edit the sequence to your liking. I view this as kind of an alternative tool to BIAB. It's real handy to have both!

Thanks Greg.. By the sound of your finished tracks & work you have obviously put in a lot of work learning EZDrummer & EZKeys... I might give EZKeys a try & see if the learning curve is easily understood..
Keep your stuff coming.. Enjoying your arrangements..
