Cubase Le 5 and Tascam 122mk11

I bought a Tascam 122mk11 that came bundled with cubase Le 5 the other day. Having a problem with registering both products and activating them from steinberg. My question is, is there anyother recording software that the Tascam 122mk11 would support or be compatible to in case i can't get this problem resolved with steinberg? I have 30 days of free trial, after that its deactivated.

I also had all sorts of headaches with the cubase/steinberg registration process and I finally just walked away from it. I downloaded Reaper which is a powerful and inexpensive recording platform. No problems using the Tascam with Reaper.

Thanks for the reply Jon. I think im about ready to dump the cubase too.
