Hey Joe! All of your products are great, but from what I see in the last photo IMHO you have put a tremendous amount of craftsmanship in that last one with the back, power strip, sidecar and swivel. I couldn't even imagine the amount of work it takes to produce even one of those! BTW, do you have a "set price" for the effects boxes, or is it variable according to size, etc? The boxes you have shown there I think would be ideal for accessibility, safety in transporting, etc. Probably just what I would want in lieu of a pedal board. I don't think I have seen where you posted prices for the effects boxes here. Thanks, Roger
First Roger the effects box in that size is $195 plus shipping - the height is 15 1/2" to the base of the the box which allows the legs to fold up. I watched steel players bend over and bump thier heads on their steels - and I say "That is when the cussin starts from bumpin thier heads on their steel" so that is where I got the idea. Velcro on the bottom of the effects hold them in place and the lid is padded so that holds them during transport. I have had had guitar players MAKE me build them for the floor - one told me he was tired of giving - a chain guitar store money every 7 months for a plastic one - I called him this weeks and after 9 months on the road all the time he told mine still looked new.
now my friend Mr Rick - Yes there is a nylon strap with a snap on the side that holds the swivel from moving - just like my back rest strap and snap - but I have been told by about 3 or 4 steel players that they tried that but no longer use it - it is a large swivel - not like on a bar stool that you have at your house - those will not hold up - I found some much heavier duty units and they work well - Introduced it after our fav keyboard player - Roy R - asked me for one - I took his to Dallas last year in March - it was the wrong height so I left in in the booth and sold 12 or 14 - about 10 of those were steel players and they love them - this particular one with a swivel and a SideKar was built for someone we both know - and a guy in Dallas told me I could not put one on a seat with a SideKar - so I did it.
I just told someone today about your steel seat on a bass amp with a back rest on the handle and he loved that idea.
