Hi Joey, I took your advice and ordered the video interface....it came in last night and my son in law installed it for me this morning (He's an electrician), took him about twenty minutes and everything works great even on an old monitor, The original monitor on the 2488 had gotten nearly impossible to read, then it even cleared up after installing the new interface. Don't know how that happened must have had a loose connection.
Very happy with the new large monitor.
