Rhythm track KEY changer?
There are various rhythm tracks being sold that have set keys. I was just wondering if there is software available that could change to a higher or lower key than was originally recorded? I'm mainly interested in instrumental rhythm tracks. Thanks.

Hi Butch,
Andy is correct regarding Audacity. If you happen to have the 2011 version of PG MUsic's Real Band, it too will do the job. The new engine in the 2011 version of BIAB and RealBand seems to work better for me with less artifacts. Irregardless, there will be some artifacts = (loss of quality) when you change pitch. More so with MP3 files vs Wav files. but it is doable to some extent.
Good Luck
Rob

I might be a beginner now, but someday I'm gonna steel the show.
