I love Melodyne!!!

Got the software for Melodyne with my PT 8. How did I live without this awesome tool for the last 30 years? Turns my crappy voice into something tolerable to listen to....I just have the basic but I see an upgrade in my future....

I've salvaged some pretty pitchy stuff with it, but I try not to use it unless I have to. Pretty amazing for sure.

I was able to fix a bad note in an otherwise 'ok' bass guitar track from a live recording once. It was a completely wrong note and I managed to drag it into the right note with minimal audio 'damage'. :)

I know what you mean Scotty. It does the same to my voice and I can't wait for the version the deals with tone as well! It has become a way for me not to have to beat up the vocalist trying to get them in perfect pitch during the recording process. I go more for the performance and soul now and deal with pitch stuff after the fact.

My latest client was floored. I kept telling him don't worry about pitch just give me the emotion the song is asking for. We fixed the first one then he understood and sang even better once the pitch thing was no longer an issue. Godd to her from you Spring! Hope you're doing well...
