My dear friend Lou from Jersey in the Channel Islands, passed away yesterday from Cancer. A great steel player for almost 60 years, he will be sadly missed....

He was a good friend to me as well Sue, stayed at my place when he got fed up being on the island and needed a break but what a shock that he has gone so quickly! He was a brillient C6th player and a lovely guy....I will miss him.

This is one hell of a shock to me, I have been friends with Cyril since I first met him in 1977 I didn't get to see him too often but we kept in touch by phone. I shall miss him very much.
