Great steel guitarest: Arnie Nelson is gone, Died yesterday.
Canadian Western Swing Hall of Famer and legendary triple neck Bigsby player since the early 50's died last night after a few weeks of hospitalization.

His wife, Nancy and son Brad were on the way to the hospital to see him when he succumed.

Arnie was a very sucessful business man and a very great player.
I met Mr. Nelson by phone and Email after buying his excellent sounding Bigsby steel guitar, which I proceeded to play on youtube clips and totally enjoy.

Another very sad loss to the world of steel guitar.
