BIAB Question

Post by Richard Tipple »

I know this has been asked before, but I just cant find it on the forum.

When ,,example ,,I choose say, acoustic piano, for the piano part ,in the drop down list for piano,
why does it switch back to a different piano, say Rhodes Piano, every time I replay ??

In other words, if a song I select from a style has a certian piano , & I change it, it always switches back to the original piano after doing a play again. ???

Try this

make any changes then save the song with patches and harmony settings. That should do it. I assume you are not using styles with real tracks built in, and/or songs made from imported midi styles. Some of those have embedded events that need to be edited.

Click on:

File / Save Song With Patches and Harmony / Show Patch List. Choose the instruments you want, and enter each instrument’s number in the Patch list, click on Save

BIAB will then remember the instrument voices you saved with that song. If you don’t do the above, BIAB will revert to the default instruments for that style every time you play the song.

Doug.

Thanks for a more thorough explanation of what I meant to say. I think my tongue got wrapped around my eye teeth and I couldn't see what I was saying.
