Post by Aub Walker »

Hi again, can any one give me some feedback on a Behringer
Guitar Link UCG102, it is a USB interface for guitar and I presume PSG could use it as well, am looking into the other info I have received also but trouble getting it here in Australia so I'm told, found stuff on Ebay but that was also from USA.
I reall y know how to turn on a computer and kill it as well, but that's really all.
thanks Aub

According to the specs that I found on zzounds HERE it should work with the steel. What they are saying with the "guitar" its that it is an "instrument level" device and and the output from the Steel and/or volume pedal is also instrument level.

Well, the more I dink around with recording, the more I wonder why you need a USB interface. With a couple adaptors and a Pod or other processors you can plug right into the line-in on your computer. I've done it several times now and it works dandy.

HI folks, once again thanks for your help & suggestions, I finally made up my mind and have purchased a LEXICON ALPHA RECORDING unit from EBAY (at least I've done paid for it, now I hope it turns up one day)it's from a USA seller so I hope he knows where Australia is.
Will let you know how it goes when I actually have it in my hot little hands, The lexicon alpha that is.
Thanks Aub
