Pianoteq

Post by Reggie Duncan »

I downloaded a trial version of this plug in and it is supposed to operate as a standalone instrument as well as in your VST programs. I can't seem to make it work. I went midi out from 2 different controllers, to midi in on my sound card and made the necessary selections for input and listening on Pianoteq. Neither controller works, so something is set wrong. The online manual is very vague in it's explanation. I am sure it is something simple....
Thanks.

I just downloaded it and it works fine as a standalone,
In audition i had to import a midi file and it worked as long as the track was playing. I did not have to set anything up

On a laptop with Altec Lancing speakers installed it sounded ok , I would think it depends on the quality of the soundcard...

It's not a bad sounding piano, but when I'm looking for some very realistic piano's this is the program I use ...I use to play keyboards for a living if that means anything ...It's all up to the individual what sounds best to them ...Good Luck ...Jim
