MP3/Wave recorder Power Supply died !

The Edirol R-1 that I have had for maybe a year and a half still works great, it is always plugged in and ready to go using the AC adapter.

It's been plugged in for a year and a half. The AC adapter died.

The exact replacement costs $50..no way..

I purchased a 3v / 1.7A Camera AC adapter off of EBAY and just changed the connector, this was $15 with shipping. Works just fine.

New rule, don't keep the AC Adapter plugged in for a year and a half. Plug it in when I need to use the recorder.
