When you create a new "real instrument" track you have the option of choosing mono or stereo. Which should I choose, when and why? Thanks, Don

if you are recording a mono input instrument (single input) then record in mono... if you are recording a stereo instrument you can record in stereo.

there is no advantage to recording a mono instrument using the stereo setting.
