Used the H2. OK, Now What??

Post by Jim Eller »

I used my H2 last night, got the files loaded to my computer, now what?

What is the simplest way to trim the beginning and end of the live recordings so I can put them on a CD?

Please use the KISS theory on this one.

Thanks,
Jim

Jim,I use Cool Edit Pro to trim stuff, and fades, volume etc.then I burn it to CD.I'm sure there are other free programs that will do it.I think that there is a way to divide tracks withing the unit,I haven't gotten to mess with that yet.

Audacity is the easiest program for that operation that I've found, and it's free. jp

Thanks Stu and Jim.

The Audacity program seems to fit my level. You just highlight, then cut, fade out or whatever.

I was able to do that on the first try and save it back in the same file. That's a major event for me.

Thanks again.
