Has anyone thought of reproducing a fingertip like Sho-bud m

I realize That most of us play either all-pull or push-pull,but have any of you guy's like Bobbe Seymour,or Bobby Bowman thought to reproduce a fingertip like Sho-Bud made?Would it be easier to tune,How expensive would it be to make one,and would it be worth the effort?Is there anyone who would prefer to play a fingertip over all other's?
