Hi Jerry, that is the way I have done it. Always go back to good old E6, been playing it off and on for about 59 years. I have played the A6, Bb6,the B6,the D6, The C6th, the E9 and always go back to E6 Now with 12 stings , I can play E9 too.
The only differnce between what I have used
on my Carter S12 with 8/8, and what
BE is experiminting with on his Carter S12, he is using the F# on his 8th string and I dont put that in , instead I Put and E on the bottom. I didnt want to interfere whith my grips for the 6th side. But maybe I should use the F# and drop the E. But Kinda like that low E. That would be perfect for a 13 string guitar. ?
