Ray Price Award
HOW DOES EVERBODY FEEL ABOUT HOW
THEY AWARDED RAY PRICE HIS AWARD
I THINK HE SHOULD HAVE THREW IT
BACK ON STAGE LIKE THEY DO IN BASEBALL
I THINK HE DESERVED MORE RESPECT
THAN THAT .I ALSO THINK THAT IF THE
YOUNGER SINGERS HAD THE CLASS THAT RAY PRICE HAS THEY WOULD NOT PUT UP WITH THAT KIND
OF CRAP. BUT LET THEM REMEMBER WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND

I saw that too and couldn't the way it was done. I have been a fan of Ray Price for years; that is one show that I'll happily go the distance. It seemed to me that the focus (hey I could be wrong) was on the singers and, in my opinion, not enough on the musicians. I don't listen to, just a singer, because if the band don't click I'm hitting the button. I don't think it would hurt to put more emphasis on the supporting cast. I like to see who is playing steel and the make of the instrument.

Folks, Hell will probably have to freeze over before any part of the NOISE that they call "country" today will be accepted by real music lovers.. That was an exercise in futility and insults.... There is only one way to combat it, OFF SWITCH ACTIVATED. Then Produce some good stuff !!!!!!!!!!!!! Search indpendant outlets, when the corps feel it in their bottom line, they will come running........thanks Jennings

Not to offend anybody here, as I am one of the biggest Ray Price fans in the world, but, things change. There is a lot of good country with steel guitar out. We just won't blessed with the long steel intro and rides of yesteryear. And, yes, some of the crap on that awards show they could have left off(Big&Rich for one). But there were high points, like Brad and Allison.

I want to know who wrote the ah,..."humor" for Reba? Jeez,Vince looked like he was in pain
The reason Ray wasnt invited to sing or speak is obvious; the show would be over!
In the dictionary next to the word "class", you can find his picture
And, Ray's health is just fine.
Ive recently had the pleasure of subbing for a few months for Steve Palousek with the Cherokee Cowboys, and The Chief has never sang better than he does now,in spite of my playing
. Two shows, no matter; he hits every note true and clean. At 78, he's not anywhere near through yet, according to him. Keep yer eyes peeled for further developments....
