Looking for Mama tried Inro

Post by Don Sulesky »

Does anyone know the correct way to do this intro on the steel.
I've had to do it in the past and i usually try it different ways, but not sure i'm doing it right.
Thanx,
Don

Go to Joe Wright's website. He has a lesson on the song with the intro finger rolls.

I've never done tab before but I'm gonna attempt to tab out the way I play this intro including the guitar lick. In the key of D. Here it goes:

3 __________________________________________
4 __________________________________________
5 ______10________10__8_____________________
6 ________________________10________________

9 __________________________________________

5 ______10________10__8_____________________
6 ________________________10________________
7 _____________________________10___________
8 __10_______10_____________________________
9 __________________________________________
