I am releasing a special package, one that has taken quite some time and expense to complete. My Boutique Steel Amp Collection was an idea that came to me due to lack of interest in some of my other really good amp models. Let me explain. Most steel guitar players go for the more popular titles that we have all played for years…such as the Peavey Nashvilles, Peavey Sessions, Fenders, Evans, etc. In the process of modeling every steel guitar amp I could get my hands on, I began to get calls and emails from players who owned rare, obscure, and sometimes simply one-off amp builds. Some of these amps possess extremely wonderful sonic character that I felt others should become acquainted with.
These are the titles in the collection:
Dr. Z Surgical Steel 2025 model
Emmons Lashley LeGrande 600
Fox Vintage Amps
FYD Town & Country
P2P Bad-Dawg 100 amp
Polytone Taurus Elite
Standel 50-UL15 Vintage Plus
TubeWorks RT2-9002 with steel mod
Tweedy-Dawg
Even if you have no interest in purchasing the package, do read through the document as to the interesting history of the modeled amps.

This is a great effort on your part!
Perhaps a dumb question-
I've been away from amp modeling for the last 5 years or so but I have an old Atomic Amplifier that works well and sounds good. Is ther a chance the files are compatable?
If you know, thanks in advance. If not thanks anyway.
Again , an impressive effort!

Re: **New** Boutique Steel Amp Model Collection for Tonex & Quad Cortex
Joe told me I was the first buyer of this collection. I have been using Joe's Peavey models for a while with my Tonex One. With just the pedal (into the Sonicake IR pedal)I could only switch between two amp models. I then bought the Xsonic Airstep controller so I could choose any of the 20 available models via a footswitch. I filled those slots with the new Boutique models.
Although I wont be gigging with this rig until next week, I have been playing them at home and on some recording projects. I have a few ready to do the show but I think it will take some time to find the right model for the right song. So far, I have used the Standel 50 and the Fox to record and client is pleased. Me too. I'll keep you posted on my progress
