An F dom 11 is an F major chord with an Eb major chord on top of it. Maybe try some F7 stuff interlaced with Eb runs.

You could play a Cm7 chord

The dom11 is a chord that (usually) is functioning as a V7sus and wants to resolve to the I chord. That’s why Nick Krol’s suggestion to play around with F7 and Ebmaj7 chord tones works, as well as Bill M’s Cm7 chord.

Interestingy, all 7 notes in the Bb major scale work over an F11, but A (the major 3rd of an F chord) sounds the weakest.

When you ask what can I play over any chord, it matters what the next chord is. You want to approach the next chord with a note or a riff or an arpeggio that leads smoothly into a strong target note for the next chord. If it’s a Bb major chord, you might want to target a Bb note (or D or F), and approach it with an A (or C, or Eb, or G).

A friend and fellow picker once advised me that as important as it is to know your chord tones, it is much more important to play melodically during a solo than to play “chordally correct”.

the chord itself can be found on fret 1 with B pedal down for the 11 (sus4), the dom7 on string 9 and 2 (2 lowered a half)

fret 4 with F lever engaged (raising 4 and 8 a half), the 11 on string 1 and 7, the dom7 on 5 and 10

fret 6 with B pedal down for the dom7, the 11 on 4 and 8

fret 8 with B pedal down, the dom7 can be had on 1 and 7 (both raised a half), the 11 on string 9 and 2 (2 lowered a half)
