Stringmaster Selector Switch

A friend with a new-to-him D-8 with the Tele style neck selector switch has a problem with the switch not 'latching' into any of the three positions -- just a smooth sweep.

Can this switch be replaced with a Tele switch?

Yes, had to do the same with mine.
GFI Expo S-10PE, Sho-Bud 6139, Fender 2x8 Stringmaster, Supro consoles, Dobro. And more.

If the spring has fallen off then it would do this... examine it.
