Fender Dual Pro 8 C6 tunings.
Can someone tell me what are the C6 tunings of both Leon McCauliffe and Don Helms.
We have a Dual Pro that I'll be seeing Sunday and I've forgotten which of the 2 C6 tunings I put on it years ago. Don't want to embarrass myself fumbling with the tuning in front of other musicians.
I may be able to tell soon as I touch the strings but it's been years since it was tuned to pitch so....
Please, no variations, just the standard tunings of these 2 players with either E or G on top.
I know everyone has their own custom tunings but I'm just looking for the basic tunings like what you would use to buy string sets etc.

Neither of those gentleman used C6th tunings as far as I am aware.
Don Helms preferred E6th, which is like C6th tuned up a major third and Leon preferred A6th.
For better or worse, “custom tunings” are the name of the game.
Jerry Byrd used:
E C A G E C# C A
Kayton Roberts and Chris Scruggs:
E C A G E C# A A (low)
Junior Brown uses:
G E C A G E C Bb
Joaquin Murphey used:
G E C A C E C# b (unwound)
Hawaiian players often use:
E C A G E C Bb C(low)
A6th strings can also be tuned for C6th and vice versa:
E C A G E C A G

Thanks Joe. I must be confused and have forgotten where I got the C6 tunings. I made notes but can't find 'em now. Hopefully, they are in the guitar case. I know I put some version of E13 on outside neck.
The guitar is somewhere else where we are having a meet up so there won't be any opportunity to change strings or tunings so I was just trying to refresh my memory re: the tunings.
