Quilter TT-12 Amp

I know that this thread is rather subjective, but I'm going to see if I can gather some information from it anyway.
First of all, I'm playing a late model Williams SD-10 pedal steel guitar. I've been playing a lap steel guitar through this Quilter TT-12 amp but not any longer. Can anyone give me a few suggestions on how to dial this amp in for my pedal steel? This enquiring mind wants to know. Oh, and I'm a bedroom player and won't be going out on any gigs.

But sometimes with Mids between 9 and 10… last couple of recordings we’re just like this.

And yes subjective

Jerry, I've never played a Williams so have no idea what results you may get with them. To me that 202 is pretty hard to get a bad sound out of. To my ear put the knobs wherever and give your ears a minute and pretty good... I've been happy with all the tone knobs straight up too with just dialing back the Mids a bit. The settings I sent you were setting that Johnny Cox and I had talked about and what he was using with his Millennium, though they can change depending on where you're playing it. I'm in my studio on either a MSA Legend with Single Coils or my Rittenberry Prestige with 705's and using the Vintage Voicing. Good luck

I'm dialing in the sound that I like very slowly. I know that I'll find it on this TT-12 amp! It's a great amp!

Dale I did not know you were using quilter products! I thought for some reason you were using telonics! How are you liking the tone block? I do remember you saying to me once that you had a steelaire ( can't remember wheterh you said combo or rack head ) I love my steelaire head so much! I guess the main diference between the rack head and tone block is that head has reverb along with a few more inpu/ouputs, and the tone block uses a few switches for voiceing where as teh head has a 4 pot graphic eq.
These are all amazing amps. I would like to pick up a tone block some day, maybe 2 for stereo.
