Benado PF2 to telonics TCA 500C amp and telonics pedal advi
I'm a newbie and need to know the best way to hook these components together. I have looked at some diagrams but wonder how others are doing it and what works best. Thanks...

There is several different options diagrammed in the back of the Steel Dream manual which should show you what you need.

Thanks!
Well, thanks for the reply. Those diagrams seem to be better suited to a single input on the front. This Telonics 500C has some in/ out features for looping the effects signals that I don't quite understand and Benado's diagrams don't account for. I was hoping someone else has blazed that trail and could enlighten me a bit. I will talk to Mr Benado himself when I get the new unit, I suppose. I'm thinking there are a number of ways that will work with circuitry and pedal placement. Well, here we go!

steel dream
load Paddy's. manual link
read page 5. drawing 4
Connect output of vol pedal to input of steel dream.
Connect the steel to the pedal of course.
Connect output of steel dream 1 or 2 to input of Telonics amp
Turn on LOOP switch
connect effects send of Dream to Telonics effects IN
connect effects return of Dream to Telonics effects OUT
This puts the Nutra drive ahead of the Telonics, but puts the reverb and delay through the effects look.
Adjust to liking.
Use Telonics wet/ dry fader to about 1 o'clock to start. Or more if you like it wet.
Don't worry about phase delay with the Steel Dream. It's all analog.

The first reply to your original question (from Paddy) contains the link to the Steel Dream instruction manual. Page five contains the connection to various amps. Figure 4 has the connections to use the reverb and delay via the Telonics effects loops. Just to remember to turn on the Loop switch.
The controls on the reverb and delay interact some with the Dry/wet fader on the Telonics. Start at about 1 to 2 o’clock.

Telonics manual
You can find the Telonics manual on their site. Dave does a great job of explaining things. I’m challenged, and it made it easy for me.
If you get stuck on the Telonics end, call or email Dave. He’s extremely helpful.
