Looking for Emmons Push/Pull - #1346

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to track down a guitar that belonged to my Dad and hoping that someone might be able to help.

It's an Emmons D-10 fat back with glossy rosewood mica, which he purchased new in 1970, Ser# 1346. Dad passed a few years ago and left the guitar to me. I had to sell it about 5 years ago to pay some medical bills and sold it to Mike Cass who restored it. I don't have any pics of the guitar after Mike restored it but I'm sure he did a great job.

I had hoped to find it mainly to know it's whereabouts and maybe even buy it back at some point.

It was the first Pedal Steel I ever played and didn't want to sell but had no choice.

If anyone can help me at least locate it, I would be very grateful! Thanks in advance!!

Hey Buck - I’m sure you have it right - but just in case you’re remembering a 9 as a six - I have 1349 which was a Rosewood guitar that Mike Cass refurbished and is now black. Just figured I’d throw it out there.

Buck I have 1342D, it is a beast. I call it old iron sides, the best sounding PP I have ever owned (7). Hope you get it back.

Hook, oddly enough, probably half the steelers I talk to either aren't members, or they are members, but seldom read and participate.
