Noel Boggs CD

I've often seen posts from folks looking for good non-pedal Cd Releases. I just picked up "Noel Boggs- The Very Best" on the Shasta Masters Series-2000 release on Varese Sarabande Records Dist. by Universal Music and Video. What a great CD- I had no idea thius stuff was even out- it's not a collection of his stuff with Hank Penny, Wills, etc. but sessions from 1958 and after with Noel as Band leader. (From "Magic Steel Guitar" and "Hollywood and Vine") Some of it's really great- his covers of "Lover" and "Tenderly" are textbooks of beautiful pop steel phrasing. I got my copy at Media Play...
